Some translator would again translate ‘chicken pox’ as ‘sunphuk’ again. While the former English term is very wide in nature and the latter is more specific, the translation in Zomi is still the same.
Hence it is very important for interpreters and translators to request explanation of terminologies to health professionals as there is no equivalent terminology in the target languages.
